mac recieves forestry leadership award

At the recent April 2024 Texas Society of American Foresters (TSAF) meeting in Livingston, Mac Burns not only received a state plaque for his 2023 service as state chair of the TSAF, but also received an award for “outstanding leadership in the field of forestry.” This is an award for an outstanding professional forester under the age of thirty-five.
Mac has been affiliated with Burns Forestry since 2020 and recently completed the Texas A&M Forest Service Leadership Institute (2023-2024) which invites selected natural resource leaders across the state to participate.
